Woodward Community Based Services is Growing!

Woodward Community Based Services is excited to announce its continued growth, with the opening of a new program!

As of July 1st, WCBS is providing tracking and monitoring services for the entire 5th Judicial District, outside of Polk County. With the new program, WCBS will open a new office in the area.

Jacob Killip will be the new Supervisor for the program and Brent Hutchings will be the Director overseeing the entire project. Thank you to Jacob and Brent for your hard work with getting the new program up and running and accommodating all of our new clients!

Stream Clean Up

Members of the WCBS management and administrative team volunteered their time on June 18th for a “Stream Clean Up” event, hosted by the Iowa Air National Guard 132nd wing. Our team spent the day cleaning up at the Great Western Bike Trail!

The event, meant to improve local trails and streams, was a great way for the WCBS team to show our support of our military.

WCBS has a “Stars and Strips” mental health counseling program to help support our military members and families.

We look forward to more events like this one and hope this is the first of many activates with the Iowa Air National Guard!
